Possible causes

– Faulty Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor
– Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor harness is open or shorted

When is the obd code mean?

If the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects a Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor signal voltage that is intermittently high, the P1106 code will set.
