What does this mean?

OBD2 Code P0520 Mini definition:
The PCM continuously monitors the engine oil pressure. The Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch sends a signal to the PCM when the engine is running.

Symptoms

Possible sumptoms of OBD code P0520 Mini
– Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light) – Oil pressure warning light ON.

Causes

Possible causes of OBD code P0520 Mini
– Low oil level or motor mechanical fault – Open or short oil level sensor circuit condition – Poor oil level sensor electrical connection – Faulty oil pressure sensor The Error code is generally activated on detection of the following conditions: The P0520 Mini is detected when the circuit from oil pressure sensor to PCM is malfunction
